Studio Policies

Payments/Fees/Refunds

1. A 20% booking fee for all clients needs to be paid upon booking online via stripe. This comes off the appointments final total. The appointment is not confirmed until this fee is paid.

2. Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable (i.e. if you are unable to make your appointment or reschedule for any reason, the booking fee will be forfeited, and you will need to pay a new booking fee for another appointment.)

3. A confirmation SMS and e-mail will be sent to the contact details provided during booking. You will receive a reminder text message 2 days before your appointment, reply with a Y to confirm your appointment. Any appointments not confirmed by 6pm will be cancelled and the booking fee forfeited.

4. In the event that incorrect contact information is provided, including, but not limited to, name, phone number, or email address, triggrfingers may not be held responsible for loss of correspondence (i.e. appointment confirmation or reminder messaging). In instances of incorrect or inaccurate information being provided, it is the client’s responsibility to identify these errors and contact triggrfingers as soon as possible.

5. No refunds for breakages, lifting or change of mind. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact triggrfingers as soon as possible. (re: repairs)

Payment Options

1. Bank Transfer, AfterPay, and Cash are available options. Please note that Triggrfinger’s does not keep any cash on premises so make sure you bring exact change.

 

Repairs

1. Repairs needed, due to any work at triggrfingers, within the first 7 days, will not be charged.

Appointments

1. As appointments run to a tight schedule, if you are 5 minutes late you will be subject to a reduced service. (i.e. a plain set without art.) If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled, and you’ll owe the entire cost of service. (re: cancellations)

2. Advertised appointment times are only guidelines as they can vary depending on the complexity of the design, nail length or repairs required.

4. It’s recommended to return every 2 – 4 weeks to ensure your nails remain in the best shape.

Cancellations/No shows

1. Any no-shows without contact prior will result in you owing the entire cost of service or forfeiting the ability to book in future.

2. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including and not limited to frequent cancellations, no shows, and failure to comply with the policies triggrfingers has in place

Accessibility

1. The studio is accessible by lift.

Child policy

1. Children are not welcome in the studio. The tools, products and equipment used are both expensive and dangerous when not handled by a professional.

Safe space

1. Triggrfingers’ welcome and respect all genders, Non-Binary and Gender Fluid folx, the entire spectrum of the LGBTQI+ Community, the elderly, people of colour, people at any level of ability, and all religions. We do not tolerate hateful behaviour towards these communities and implore you to exercise compassion and kindness in the studio.

2. Comments targeted towards other beauty professionals around race and gender will not be tolerated.
